BOARD OF EDUCATION – POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING
The policy committee meeting was held in the Somonauk High School Conference Room at 5:36 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2011. The following members were present: Roger Duffield, Tom Hohmann, Scott Horsch, Beth Westbrook and Dawn Green.
The list of policies to be reviewed included:
2.250 Access to District Public Records
6.150 Home and Hospital Instruction
7.305 Student Athlete Concussions and Head Injuries
3.20 Organizational Chart
3.30 Chain of Command
3.70 Succession of Authority
Discussion was held and it will be recommended to the Board to approve and waive the second reading on the following policies: 2.250, 6.150 and 7.305.
It will be recommended to the Board to approve the following policies after the second reading: 3.20, 3.30 and 3.70.
It was moved by Horsch, seconded by Westbrook that the meeting be adjourned at 6:09 p.m. On a voice vote, all members present voted "AYE". Motion carried.
