Last week, Mrs. Humes' VE (Virtual Enterprise) class attended a Student Leadership Conference with other future business leaders from the area. Virtual Enterprise is a unique class where students conceive of and run a virtual business in a virtual economy. By managing the day-to-day operations of a company, students not only develop business skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, they also identify career pathways that align with their interests, talents, and aspirations.

Students at the conference attended breakout sessions on various business topics, such as accounting, human relations, sales, and design. They will bring their knowledge back to the classroom to help them run their new business, EnvOlution
