Somonauk CUSD 432

SHS welcomes back Karen Taylor! Ms Taylor will join the Special Education department as a case manager. She is a Somonauk Alum and loves everything Somonauk, especially when it involves her own children. She enjoys the outdoors and hiking and is currently living out her dream job as a teacher!

JRW would like to welcome Sydney Krueger as a new 4th-grade teacher. She graduated from Genoa Kingston High School and North Central College. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, playing card games, and walking her dog. An interesting fact about Ms Kruger is that she was involved in 4-H for showing pigs. Happy to have her as part of the Bobcat Family!

A group of seniors braved the cold weather this morning as they traveled to Aurora University for an informational presentation and campus tour. Students were able to see many of the buildings and amenities offered at the AU campus, including a dorm room in one of the residence halls. AU offers many merit-based scholarships, helping make this local institution affordable for many.

The Freshmen Discount Card Fundraiser is still underway to help support the Class of 2029 and their endeavors!
