Fran Kenyon, a devoted fifth-grade Math teacher, brings her enthusiasm and expertise to the classroom with a background that includes graduating from Deerfield High School and Northern Illinois University. Her dream job would be to become a professional photographer for the Chicago Cubs, a role that perfectly aligns with her deep love for sports. She is a proud mom to two remarkable young men, Jacob and Steven. Welcome back, Mrs Kenyon.

Welcome Carly Faivre, a first-grade teacher embarking on her inaugural year in education, she brings a vibrant energy and a wealth of experiences to her classroom. A graduate of Indian Creek High School and Illinois State University, she has a deep-seated passion for learning and teaching. Her love for travel is evident from her enriching 10-week stint student-teaching abroad in England, where she lived with a host family and immersed herself in a new culture.

From Earlville, Jessica Glover has recently joined the Somonauk education community teaching Pre- K. With three delightful daughters by her side, she balances her professional life with a vibrant family life. At home, their 20-year-old gecko, Stella, reigns supreme as a beloved member of the household. Her love for reading is well-known, often finding solace in the pages of a good book. Beyond her classroom, she and her family are deeply involved in wildlife rescue, dedicating their time and care to fostering small animals and reptiles in need.

Digital art students created replicas of the first graders' drawings using Photoshop tools. The high school digital art students were so excited to see their reactions. Great job everyone!
