We had such a terrific afternoon! Annie, the Kane County Cougar came to our school to join in the One School One Book Skit! Annie couldnt' wait to start reading our book! She sat right down in our library and started Chapters 1 & 2 !

The Kane County Cougars Reading Program has begun! A parent letter and reading log was sent home with all students last week. Reading minute requirements are different for each grade level:
3rd & 4th have 100 minutes per week (20 min per weeknight) = 200 minutes for each "base" on the field!
2nd has 80 minutes per week (16 min per weeknight) = 160 per "base."
1st has 50 minutes per week (10 per weeknight) = 100 per "base."
K & PreK has 30 minutes per week (6 per weeknight) = 60 per "base."
Help your child earn their free Cougars tickets and ball-field meal !
