A message from the Somonauk Public Library: Somonauk Public Library presents the 2024 Summer Reading Program, “Adventure Begins At Your Library!” Registration begins June 10th, 2024 with an opening celebration on June 13th from 11-1 p.m. with food, face painting, balloons and fire trucks! Sign up will continue throughout the summer with a closing awards program on August 8th. There will be movies, craft days, story hours, STEM, and special programs for children of all ages to attend. Any questions please call the library during regular business hours at 815-498-2440.

Children's Garden activities in June
The Children's Garden event scheduled for today has been CANCELLED and will not be rescheduled. Thank you
JRW first graders created a drawing of a creature or object and sent it over to the high school digital art class for collaboration. Digital art students created replicas of the first graders' drawings using Photoshop tools. The high school digital art students were so excited to see their reactions. Great job everyone!
