Earlier this week, our entire freshman class attended SPARK! 2025 at the Fox Valley Family YMCA in Plano. SPARK! is a VALEES (Valley Education for Employment System) career exploration event, specifically designed for ninth-grade students. This event provides an interactive experience to help students explore different career paths, and is an opportunity for students to connect with professionals, learn about various fields, and begin thinking about their future careers.

This past Thursday, a group of students attended the annual Apprenticeship & Trades Expo held at the Painter's Union District Council 30 in Aurora. Students were able to speak to trades professionals to learn more about the various trades and apprenticeship employment opportunities available.

BeeWell Healthcare is back to provide sports physicals for Somonauk student-athletes again this spring! If your student-athlete will be in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade next fall, he/ she can get his/her sports physical on April 16th from 9:00 am-12:00.
