The girls played a tough game last night against Newark at the Millbrook Junior High School. There were some really good volleys and the team made some good choices. It was a loss against Newark. You can come cheer on your fellow bobcats on Monday at 4:15 as they go against Paw Paw.

Last night, the volleyball team faced Newark. Although the results were not what we hoped for, the girls fought hard and showed great improvement. Pacey Wyant had amazing hussle throughout the match. Calli Snider led the team in serves, and Kami Ambler led the team in digs. The team's next home game is on Monday against Paw Paw.

On Friday the 8th grade volleyball team faced HBR. Although the girls came up short, they are improving greatly. Calli Snider made many overhand serves over and the hitters are getting more aggressive. The team plays Newark tonight.

Last Friday your Somonauk bobcats took on Hinckley-Big Rock and came out on top by a score of 3-1. Goals were scored by Alex Hoffman with two and Cole Gudmunson with one. Goals were assisted by Landin Stillwell and Brady Andrews with one each. Tristan Reed had an excellent performance in net with 10 saves on the day. Kameron Madrigal and Patrick Short had great defensive games helping the Bobcats secure the win. Wish us luck for our game tonight in Newark!

Somonauk 7th grade volleyball won their first game last Friday at home against Hinckley Big Rock. Both sets were 11-25, with Kaydence Eade and Payton Reyes getting multiple points with their serves! Alizaey Magana and Isabella Rolf made some very good digs and tough decisions in the front row, while Ady Werner and Brooke Bahrey rocked defense in the back, making some amazing passes! We hope to bring this energy to our next game tonight against Newark at their home court.

Last night, the girls fought hard against Earlville but came up a little short. They lost the first game 24-26 and the second game 21-25. All of the girls showed great hustle and determination. Last night, the 7th grade girls volleyball team went up against Earlville at home. It was a tough loss with the first set being 25-27, Earlville winning the game. There were some good digs made by Brooke Bahrey and Ady Werner. Alizaey Magana was serving it up last night, providing the team with multiple aces throughout the game. Yesterday your Somonauk Bobcats took care of business against the Red Raiders. Alex Hoffman led the team in scoring with two, followed by Landin Stillwell, Cole Gudmunson, Kadyn Haage, Kameron Madrigal, Jackson Brockway, and Karter Nelson each with a goal a piece. Landin Stillwell, Brady Andrews and Tanner Daniels had two assists each. Tristan Reed had three saves in goal to give the Bobcats their 2nd shutout in a row.
