After reading a chapter in Wonder, 5th grade ELA students took quotes and sorted them into categories. The students then discussed how they could change those quotes to be kind or helpful.

For our March Madness Challenge, SMS is kicking off our fundraiser, BUCKETS FOR BRENNA, to support our 7th grade student, Brenna Slais who is battling leukemia. As a district, we are selling Somonauk Bobcat hats. The profits will go directly to the St. Balrdrick's organization on behalf of our school district.
