After reading a chapter in Wonder, 5th grade ELA students took quotes and sorted them into categories. The students then discussed how they could change those quotes to be kind or helpful.
SMS Students: Let's see your talent! Can you sing? Dance? Act? Do you have a comedy or musical act you are ready to show off? It's time for the 2019 SMS Talent Show! If you are interested, please pick up a permission slip in the office and return it by next Thursday, April 18th. 5th grade has started Wonder! They will be meeting in small groups to discuss point of view, character traits, events, and setting. They will also meet with Ms. Ozarka each week to discuss important social emotional topics in the book.

For our March Madness Challenge, SMS is kicking off our fundraiser, BUCKETS FOR BRENNA, to support our 7th grade student, Brenna Slais who is battling leukemia. Each grade level and gender is competing in a bracket style penny war. All proceeds will go to Brenna and her family. Don't forget to bring in your coins all week long! #B4B #bobcats432
