April 17, 2020 This afternoon, Governor Pritzker announced that all Illinois schools will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. Illinois schools across the state will not resume in-person instruction until fall and will continue with Remote Learning days for instruction throughout April and May. We will communicate more information next week after our Remote Learning Plan day, on Monday, April 20th.

STUDENT MEALS Somonauk is offering free meals to any Somonauk Student and any sibling 18 years or younger. Starting Monday, April 13, a small breakfast will also be included with the lunch. The YMCA will be providing a Grab and Go DINNER during the Pandemic for children 18 and under. It will start March 30th.

Congratulations to Sami Miller! She is jumping for joy because she received news today that she was officially selected by WCC as the 2020 Gustafson Scholar from Somonauk High School. Being a Gustafson scholar earns her two years tuition free to Waubonsee Community College. Bobcat PRIDE!

COVID-19 Bobcat Families: You may have heard the governor's speech today where he ordered a shelter in place throughout Illinois through April 7. We are still waiting on guidance from ISBE as to how this will impact schools. We will utilize these guidelines to finalize our plans for students during that time. Bobcat Families Under the advisement of Governor Pritzker, in which he stated to limit school events involving 250 people or more, we will have to postpone the St. Baldrick's Assembly for Friday March 13th. Once we have a new date we will share immediately. Thank you for the tremendous generosity in raising funds for St. Baldrick's Foundation and research to find a cure for childhood cancer. We appreciate your understanding, and look forward to a future date for our event.
